Hands On Volunteering

Hero Care Packages' Team Building Program provides an excellent opportunity for employees to work together towards a common goal. By assembling care packages for military personnel, team members can collaborate in a meaningful and organized way. This hands-on activity encourages communication, cooperation, and a sense of unity among groups.

Meaningful Contributions

Participants in the program have the opportunity to include handwritten letters and personal touches in the care packages. Letters of gratitude, drawings from kids are tremendous ways to make these packages meaningful.

Frequently Asked Questions

How big or small can our volunteer group be?

Our team building program is designed to be scalable. Even larger organizations can participate.

The key is finding a comfortable space for the group to be able to spread out and build the packages. Large meeting rooms, spacious hallways, cafeteria, or classroom are all spaces to think about for hosting the event.

How does shipping work?

Hero Care Packages provides all the shipping labels needed for the event. We ship USPS Priority to ensure the packages arrive as quickly as possible. Once the package is sealed, your team will put the shipping label on.

Depending on location, you can schedule a USPS pickup of the care packages or group together to make drop offs t the nearest location.

Can we put our own items in the care packages?

Yes, but it must first be approved by our team. Due to the strict restrictions and rules put in place by the DoD and Customs departments around the world, we need to make sure the item(s) is allowed to be imported.

The more common personalized items such as handwritten letters and drawings, are allowed and encouraged but other food items, electronics, tools, etc. need to be approved.

Who is this program for?

This team building package was designed for businesses, teams and groups of people looking to be more involved with volunteer work and supporting the individuals protecting our country.

We work with teams big and small, kids' birthday parties, run clubs, social groups and more.
